The relevant testoutputNN files were copied from the
PCRE distribution and some corrections were done to
run_pcre_tests.erl.
Also made test generator be more compiler friendly
The re_testoutput1_replacement_test and
re_testoutput1_split_test modules that are
generated by run_pcre_tests.erl (offline,
when a new version of PCRE is integrated in the VM)
took forever to compile, as one single huge function
contained all the tests. The autogenerated tests are now
split into ~50 functions, which reduces compile time to
approximately a third.
New automatic test suites are also generated from the
new testoutputNN files, and checked in.

This flag, which silences call trace, can be set with erlang:trace/3,
but was not allowed in dbg:p/2. This has been corrected.

The original code predates that module but there's no reason not to use
it now.

To accept any nested list of codepoints and binaries. A list containing
a binary was previously misinterpreted and the documentation was
incomplete.
Also, rework codec suite slightly to be able to specify values for which
decode o encode is the identity map, for which encode should succeed,
and for which encode should fail.

Bug reported by Jose Valim on the erlang-bugs mailing list:
erlang:halt(0,[]) does not flush as advertised in the documentation.
Should be the same as erlang:halt(0,[{flush,true}]), but is in fact
the same as erlang:halt(0,[{flush,false}]).

If 'after' blocks are not lifted, the ids of functions in their bodies
must be killed and it can make stacktraces more confusing than they
should. We lift them to zeroary functions to avoid unnecessary killings
and duplication of code.

Adding return values and types to `main` functions in `mod_syslog.c` and
`ferrule.c` fixed the build.

Lock and thread names are already a feature in the driver interface.
This extension will let developers read these names. Eases debugging.
