From 56090db3ea417157a749bdd810fc61d117493f1f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Sverker Eriksson Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2016 19:45:01 +0100 Subject: erts: Change erl_exit into erts_exit This is mostly a pure refactoring. Except for the buggy cases when calling erlang:halt() with a positive integer in the range -(INT_MIN+2) to -INT_MIN that got confused with ERTS_ABORT_EXIT, ERTS_DUMP_EXIT and ERTS_INTR_EXIT. Outcome OLD erl_exit(n, ) NEW erts_exit(n, ) ------- ------------------- ------------------------------------------- exit(Status) n = -Status <= 0 n = Status >= 0 crashdump+abort n > 0, ignore n n = ERTS_ERROR_EXIT < 0 The outcome of the old ERTS_ABORT_EXIT, ERTS_INTR_EXIT and ERTS_DUMP_EXIT are the same as before (even though their values have changed). --- erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c') diff --git a/erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c b/erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c index 1ef9e5eef7..8fe7e599e5 100644 --- a/erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c +++ b/erts/emulator/sys/unix/sys_float.c @@ -90,7 +90,7 @@ void erts_fp_check_init_error(volatile unsigned long *fpexnp) snprintf(buf, sizeof buf, "ERTS_FP_CHECK_INIT at %p: detected unhandled FPE at %p\r\n", __builtin_return_address(0), (void*)*fpexnp); if (write(2, buf, strlen(buf)) <= 0) - erl_exit(ERTS_ABORT_EXIT, "%s", buf); + erts_exit(ERTS_ABORT_EXIT, "%s", buf); *fpexnp = 0; #if defined(__i386__) || defined(__x86_64__) erts_restore_fpu(); -- cgit v1.2.3
