From 21095e6830f37676dd29c33a590851ba2c76499b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pierre Fenoll Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2013 15:48:29 +0100 Subject: Remove ^L characters hidden randomly in the code. Not those used in text files as delimiters. While working on a tool that processes Erlang code and testing it against this repo, I found out about those little sneaky 0xff. I thought it may be of help to other people build such tools to remove non-conforming-to-standard characters. --- lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl') diff --git a/lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl b/lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl index 0ca2f57dde..c0dfecd1dc 100644 --- a/lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl +++ b/lib/compiler/src/core_scan.erl @@ -96,7 +96,7 @@ format_error(Other) -> io_lib:write(Other). string_thing($') -> "atom"; %' stupid emacs string_thing($") -> "string". %" stupid emacs - + %% Re-entrant pre-scanner. %% %% If the input list of characters is insufficient to build a term the @@ -214,7 +214,7 @@ pre_comment(eof, Sofar, Pos) -> pre_error(E, Epos, Pos) -> {error,{Epos,core_scan,E}, Pos}. - + %% scan(CharList, StartPos) %% This takes a list of characters and tries to tokenise them. %% -- cgit v1.2.3
