From af87c27e896533e026b1b6a67d86b4c09f6ba729 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Bj=C3=B6rn=20Gustavsson?= Date: Fri, 30 Dec 2011 07:32:28 +0100 Subject: compilation_SUITE: Prevent cover from being run on slave nodes In the self compilation test cases, the compiler compiles itself and runs the newly compiled version on a slave node. Having the cover server starting on the slave node defeats the purpose of the test, since it will load the SAME cover-compiled code on the slave node. (It will also be slower, but will not improve coverage since it compiles the same source files again.) Use a shielded node to prevent the cover server from getting started on the slave node. --- lib/compiler/test/compilation_SUITE.erl | 23 ++++++++++++++--------- 1 file changed, 14 insertions(+), 9 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib/compiler/test') diff --git a/lib/compiler/test/compilation_SUITE.erl b/lib/compiler/test/compilation_SUITE.erl index 1f17664b54..c546666a3a 100644 --- a/lib/compiler/test/compilation_SUITE.erl +++ b/lib/compiler/test/compilation_SUITE.erl @@ -427,9 +427,9 @@ self_compile_1(Config, Prefix, Opts) -> %% Compile the compiler again using the newly compiled compiler. %% (In another node because reloading the compiler would disturb cover.)
