This is a follow up to commit b5ee5c6.
Similar to function calls, we also need to annotate used types
on call site since this information is used later on when showing
undefined type errors.
Notice we don't need to annotate the type export because
it is an attribute and those are always properly annotated.

Use erlang:unique_integer([positive]) when generating unique node
names.

Add enif_raise_exception function to allow NIFs to raise error
exceptions holding any Erlang terms. This does not replace or
deprecate the enif_make_badarg function, though, because raising
badarg errors is so idiomatic in NIFs. Reimplement enif_make_badarg on
top of enif_raise_exception. Add new tests for enif_raise_exception
for both normal and dirty NIFs. Add documentation for
enif_raise_exception.
|
|
Sverker Eriksson came up with the following idea: to handle a future
ability for NIFs to raise more than just badarg exceptions, modify the
recently-added enif_has_pending_exception function to take a second
argument: a pointer to ERL_NIF_TERM. If this argument is a null
pointer, ignore it. Otherwise, if the first argument, an ErlNifEnv*,
has an associated exception, set the pointed-to ERL_NIF_TERM of the
second argument to the value of the exception term. Add new tests and
documentation for this modification.
|
|
Fix a place where part of the implementation of enif_schedule_nif was
not using the ErlNifEnv exception_thrown field when it should have
been.
Also make the result of enif_schedule_nif return false when passed to
enif_is_exception, and add an assertion for this to the nif_SUITE.c
tests.

* hans/ssh/configurable_cipher/OTP-12029:
ssh: Algorithms test case added
ssh: Undocumented option 'compression' replaced by 'preferred_algorithms'
ssh: New option 'preferred_algorithms'
ssh: Remove erroneous option 'role'
|
|
|
|
The 'compression' option was used in the test cases. The new option 'preferred_algorithms' is
much more powerful and can be used as a replacement.
|
|
This option enables the user to define which algorithms that
are to be used as well as their precedences in the negotiation
between server and client.
|
|
This option is set internaly but there is no reason to set it when calling a function.

If a child of a simple_one_for_one returns ignore from its start
function no longer store the child for any restart type. It is not
possible to restart or delete the child because the supervisor is a
simple_one_for_one.
Previously a simple_one_for_one would crash, potentially without
shutting down all of its children, when it tried to shutdown a child
with undefined pid.
Previous only one undefined pid child was stored in a simple_one_for_one
supervisor no matter how many times the child start function returned
ignore.

During code purging and check_process_code, the checking of the binary reference
embedded in the match binary state was omitted for the tracing tests. This would cause
the binary match state to reference deallocated memory.

et analyses trace messages, and since trace message with timestamps
still always are based on erlang:now/0, we must keep the calls to
erlang:now/0 but suppress the warnings.
