The v3_life pass does not do enough to be worth being its own
pass. Essentially it does two things:
* Calculates life-time information starting from the annotations
that v3_kernel provides. That part can be moved into v3_codegen.
* Rewrites the Kernel Erlang records to similar plain tuples
(for example, #k_cons{hd=Hd,tl=Tl} is rewritten to {cons,Hd,Tl}).
That rewriting is not needed and can be eliminated.

Guard test for error case was not updated to handle httpc stream concept
properly.

Tracing won't work on modules that are native-compiled.

If the version of the given crash dump is newer than what
crashdump_viewer is prepared to read, then crashdump_viewer will
display an info dialog and then terminate. This is to allow major
updates of the format of crash dumps.

I recently tried to add some additional optimizations for
matching of maps, but found out that the inliner will need
some updates to be able to handle those optimizations.
Add lib/compiler/internal_doc/cerl-notes.md to document what
I've learned.

gen_sctp:connect_init/4 could return error even though the connect are in progress.
I.e. connect on socket returned "in progress".
The error can come from packet_inet_output() which is checking the socket for errors.
The issue here is that from erlang you don't think the connect is still ongoing.
But you will receive a sctp_assoc_change message later on.

New chunk mechanism of body data in POST requests added in
5d01c70ca399edf28e99dc760506329689fab6ba
broke handling of POST body data not using the new mechanism.
Added better regression test

Commit e1310b8f introduced a bug which caused the observer tool (and
crashdump_viewer) to crash when trying to display an empty binary. The
same change would also cause leading zeros in a binary to disappear in
the preview. The bug is now corrected.

Update list of supported separators:
- escaped_amp (default): "&"
- amp: "&"
- semicolon: ";"
|
|
When the cpu ids and scheduler ids don't match,
the end schedulers could end up not being bound
when they should be.
example:
> taskset -c 1-3 erl +S 4 +sbts
> erlang:system_info(scheduler_bindings).
{1,2,3,unbound}
This fix makes it so that all cores are used to
bind schedulers.

- transcode/2 flattens input lists in order to be able to handle
lists with percent-encoded parts that are split into muliple
list and binary segments.
- Add additional tests for transcoding mixed lists.

Previously when parsing queries the first "?" was part of the
parsed query in the result Map. This behavior has been changed
to follow the patterns used with other URI components and to
not include the special character(s) that mark the start of a
specific component.

- Add property tests using PropEr.
- Add new testcases to uri_string_SUITE.
- Improve calculation of parsed binary.
- Verify if input to parse() is UTF8 encoded.
- Update is_valid_map(): added check for path
and host.
|
|
- Improved calculation of parsed binary.
- Added tests for special corner cases.
- Fixed dialyzer warnings.
|
|
- Implemented recompose function with percent-encoding and
validation of IPv4/IPv6 addresses.
- Added test for recompose that uses a generated test
vector (URI combinations based on a fix set of URI
components).
- Added test for parse-recompose using a generated
test vector.
- Removed parsing functions for lists. Lists are converted to
binary before parsing.
