Example:

erl dummy_param
In the above example, the dummy_param would be interpreted
as an argument to -test, and not as a separate argument as
it should.

If it cannot be found in the daily build dir, we try ERL_TOP
incase it is there.

PLUS a little change in epmd_srv.c:750 ("4" -> "replylen")
that was part of e2cf4a8a4b03b9f430ba228276c3b2629159e832
by mistake.

The ethread_SUITE is unlikely to ever find a real bug
introduced in a pull request, but it frequently times
out when run by Travis CI.

When removing typer as application, it was also removed from the list
of applications to exclude from upgrade tests. However, since typer
still exist in older OTP releases, it must remain in the exclude list
as long as these releases are used in the test.

common_test requires that if init_per_suite/1 exists, then
end_per_suite/1 must also exist. If end_per_suite/1 does not exist,
then it will be marked in the log as failed with reason 'undef'. Some
test suites are corrected to avoid this.

For the benefit of Travis CI, include more test cases from
otp_SUITE in the smoke test. That will avoid having to run
a pull request through the daily builds to find those kind
of minor issues.

Since no test suites includede test_server.hrl, there is no need
to have test_server in the include path or code path.

As a first step to removing the test_server application as
as its own separate application, change the inclusion of
test_server.hrl to an inclusion of ct.hrl and remove the
inclusion of test_server_line.hrl.
