2016-05-30Add diameter_reg:subscribe/2Anders Svensson
To allow processes to subscribe to a message when a matching association is added or removed. The intention is to use this in diameter_{tcp,sctp}, in order for listening processes to find out when transport their transport configuration has been removed.
2016-05-30Add dialyzer specs to diameter_regAnders Svensson
Last missed in commit 25bef13f.
2016-05-30Remove diameter_reg:repl/2Anders Svensson
Unused, and in the way for what's to come.
2016-05-30Remove diameter_reg bloatAnders Svensson
Unexpected messages don't happen in practice, and no_auto_import is neither necessery nor difficult to avoid.

2016-05-27Declare the type of function entry pointsKostis Sagonas
This shuts off compiler warnings and will allow to enable stronger compiler checks files that include beam_disasm.hrl in the hipe application. While doing that, also modified a comment in the header file and turned a case statement into effectively an assertion: there should not really be any beam files where functions do not have a label as entry point, right?

2016-05-26Change ct:sleep to timer:sleep where scaling is not wantedSiri Hansen
2016-05-26Don't generate ssh key files in netconf client testSiri Hansen
Generating the dsa files can be very slow on some machines. Use hardcoded files instead.
2016-05-26Ignore data received in break mode in test telnet_serverSiri Hansen
The only command handled in break mode is 'q' = 'quit break mode'. Other data would earlier cause a function_clause exception. Other data could e.g. be a NOP poll (keep alive). To fix the problem, any data received in break mode, except 'q', will now be ignored.
2016-05-26Wait for process to die before next callSiri Hansen
gen_server_SUITE:start often fails since a call which is expected to give 'noproc' error instead gives 'stopped' error. This happens when the call is done before the process is really dead. To overcome this problem, we now wait for the process exit before doing the call.
2016-05-26hipe_llvm: Export hipe literals as LLVM metadataMagnus Lång
LLVM currently hard-codes these. Since it is desirable to be able to change things like PCB layout without requiring a change to LLVM, we export these as LLVM metadata, which can easily be used from LLVM to make it independent of them.

2016-05-26ssl: Add BEAST mitigation selection optionKenneth Lakin
Some legacy TLS 1.0 software does not tolerate the 1/n-1 content split BEAST mitigation technique. This commit adds a beast_mitigation SSL option (defaulting to one_n_minus_one) to select or disable the BEAST mitigation technique. Valid option values are (one_n_minus_one | zero_n | disabled).
2016-05-25Use the -epmd_module flag consistentlyMagnus Henoch
If the -epmd_module flag has been specified on the command line, use that module to register and look up node names instead of the default, erl_epmd. Also document this option.
2016-05-25beam_utils: Simplify handling of 'return' to eliminate uncovered lineBjörn Gustavsson
Y registers are killed by the deallocate/1 instruction, so there is no need to handle Y register in the return/1 instruction in check_liveness/3. There is also no need to keep check_liveness_live_ret/3 since it is only used in one place.
2016-05-25beam_jump: Clean up handling of labels before func_infoBjörn Gustavsson
In complicated code with many indirect jumps to the func_info label, a label could get lost.
2016-05-25beam_expect: Correctly handle blocks with multiple allocsBjörn Gustavsson
A negative allocation could be calculated if a block had multiple allocations. Make sure to process the block in the right order so that the correct allocation is processed. Also add an assertion. This bug was often not noticed because beam_type usually silently recalculates the allocation amount in test_heap/2 instructions.
2016-05-25v3_codegen: Don't confuse beam_validatorBjörn Gustavsson
Generate code that not only is safe, but can easily be seen by beam_validator to be safe.
2016-05-25v3_codegen: Correct code generation for an error/1 call in a guardBjörn Gustavsson
Sometimes v3_codegen would generate unsafe code when there was a call to error/1 in a guard.

2016-05-25Retry ct_telnet:get_data if no data is received after short waitSiri Hansen
ct_telnet_own_server_SUITE:large_string tests that the client can receive a chopped up string. To make sure the right thing is tested, a SHORT timer is used before calling ct_telnet:get_data, but on some slow machines the the timer is too short to allow data to be received. To overcome this, the test now re-tries ct_telnet:get_data a few times before giving up.
