Clean up rpc_SUITE:call_benchmark/1
Eliminate use of erlang:now/0 for generating random numbers
Eliminate use of erlang:now/0 for measuring time
Eliminate use of erlang:now/0 for generating unique node names
|
|
The call_benchmark/1 test case is supposed to return a comment
about the number of RPC calls per second, but the return value
from the function that produces the comment (do_call_benchmark/4)
is ignored. The test case is essentially useless except as a
smoke test.
Simplify the test case and correct the showing of the number of
RPC calls per second, as well as eliminate the use of erlang:now/0.

Fix the sorting logic in add_multi_timer() and expand the test case
coverage around this area.

|
This is to give a quick end if the test is run a maskin where it can't log in to the OpenSSH server.

All of the tests are related to gen_tcp:accept/[1,2] and each of them
has the same problem: they ignore the return value of the
?EXPECT_ACCEPTS macro.

On two of our test machines, ct:sleep was scaled to a ridicously long time (10 x). This made the key renegotiation to trigger wich the test case was designed not to tolerate.
By reducing the sleep time to the intended order of magnitude, hopfully the test cases will work.

To enable the HTTP server to run in a virtualized environment,
where there can be more that one server that has the same
bind_address and port, we add a new option profile.
The profile name will be used in concatenation with bind_address and port
to identify the HTTP server instance.
The name profile was chosen as there is a similar concept in the HTTP client
where profile names can be used to instantiate client configurations.

Make code_server be responsible for finding the architecture and deciding
whether to try to load native code, in order to avoid repeated calls to
system_info(hipe_architecture) and clumsy uses of try/catch to test if hipe
is enabled.

Client-initiated renegotiation is more costly for the server than the
client, and this feature can be abused in denial of service attempts.
Although the ssl application already takes counter-measure for these
(via cooldown periods between renegotiations), it can be useful to
disable the feature entirely.
This patch adds the `{client_renegotiation, boolean()}' option to the
server-side of the SSL application (defaulting to `true' to be
compatible with the current behaviour).
The option disables the ability to do any renegotiation at all in the
protocol's state, reusing the existing denial code, but without opening
the code path that sets up a timed message to eventually reopen it up.

The ssh application does not have any external include files
|
|
Several people have requested that the assert macros in EUnit should be
moved out to a separate header file. This patch puts them in
stdlib/include/assert.hrl, which gets included by the eunit.hrl file.
Thus, nothing changes for eunit users, but the asserts can now also be
included separately.

To enable the ssh daemon to run in a virtualized environment, where
there can be more that one server that has the same ip-address
and port, we add a new option profile. The profile name will be
used in concatenation with ip-address and port to identify the
ssh daemon instance.
The name profile was chosen as there is a similar concept in the HTTP client
in inets where profile names can be used to instantiate client configurations.
Also the same type of option has been added to the HTTP server in inets.

Because of the refresh the list was scrolled to the begining
